Hunter is pleased to announce a number of recent company promotions implemented as we work to move our firm strategically forward — and ensure we have our team members in roles best suited to their unique skills and experience. We count ourselves lucky to work with our industry’s best, and these recent company promotions are the result of our employees’ dedication not only to Hunter and our clients, but to ensuring we’re always putting our best foot forward in terms of quality products and service.

Hunter Executive Vice President Scott Turner
Scott Turner

Scott Turner Was Promoted to Executive Vice President
In early 2023 Hunter promoted Scott Turner to executive vice president. In his new role he serves as a key member of, and adviser to, our leadership team. He also aids in developing organizational goals and strategies for our growing manufacturing efforts.

Scott joined Hunter in 2006 and maintains more than 30 years of operational and manufacturing management experience. He began his time with our firm as director of operations before moving up to serve as vice president of operations.

The Texas native said he views his promotion as a chance to serve Hunter in a different capacity.

“I’m a big believer in our company’s custom modular buildings, and our goal of fostering safer work environments around the globe,” Scott explained. “This new position is a chance for me to have a real impact on our company’s future, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

Hunter Vice President of Special Projects Jose Barragan
Jose Barragan

Jose Barragan Was Promoted to Vice President of Special Projects
In December of 2022 16-year company veteran Jose Barragan was promoted to vice president of special projects. In his new role, he provides support and conducts long-range planning for Hunter’s estimating and design efforts, implementing solutions and procedures for our company’s various divisions.

Jose has more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and has served in a range of leadership positions. He joined Hunter as an engineering designer and project manager, and played a critical role in developing our company’s design and estimating processes. Following a promotion to director of design and estimating, he successfully managed Hunter teams, improving throughput and accuracy across our design and estimating departments.

He described this next step in his career as an exciting one.

“I’ve been deeply involved with the operational side of our company for a while now, but this new role gives me the opportunity to take that work to the next level,” he said. “I’m ready to help move Hunter ahead.”

Justin Barrington

Justin Barrington Was Promoted to Senior Vice President of Engineering and Project Support
In July of 2022, Hunter promoted Justin Barrington to senior vice president of engineering and project support. In his new role he oversees our company’s long-term operational and procedural goals. He also works with Hunter Site Services, implementing strategic direction and values to advance the company.

Justin’s career includes more than 15 years of construction industry experience, with a number of years spent at Hunter. Throughout his career he has successfully completed projects for public and private customers, placing an emphasis on cultivating and maintaining key relationships.

Prior work placed him in leadership positions ranging from field operations to managing director, and provided him with firsthand knowledge of the work required to execute a project both safely and successfully.

He said he is excited for the opportunity to help move Hunter into the future.

“With our impressive history of growth and success, I look forward to focusing on further building upon Hunter’s distinguished industry reputation while providing long-term value for our clients and employees,” Justin said.

Nathan Conrad Was Promoted to Vice President of Operations
In early 2023 Hunter promoted 12-year company veteran Nathan Conrad to vice president of operations. In his new role, he provides support and conducts long-range planning for our company’s operations on the whole.

Nathan maintains more than 20 years of manufacturing industry experience. Prior work placed him in leadership positions ranging from materials management to operations. He joined Hunter in 2011, originally as a warehouse manager, and played a critical role in developing our company’s procurement processes. After a promotion to director of operations, he successfully managed multiple departments while improving efficiency and clarity across our organization. 

First-hand experience provided Nathan a clear understanding of each role required to execute a Hunter building, and he said he plans to put the knowledge to good use.

“I’ve been deeply involved with the operational side of our company for a while now, but this new role gives me the opportunity to take that work to the next level,” he said.

Stephanie Wilder Was Promoted to Director of Sales
In January of 2023 Stephanie Wilder was promoted to director of sales at Hunter. In her new role, she is responsible for managing our outside and inside sales teams, directing marketing efforts and assisting in new product development. She also works with leadership to help ensure the company meets its long-term growth and revenue goals.

Stephanie joined Hunter in 2012 as regional account manager covering Northern Texas and the Central U.S. She maintains more than 23 years of sales experience, including 16 years with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in oil and gas. She also gained sales experience with companies including International Vending Management and Encon Safety Products, Inc.

She said she looks forward to serving Hunter in a slightly different capacity and bringing a sense of humor to her work.

“I’ve been with Hunter for more than a decade now, and I love both the company and my team sales work,” Stephanie said. “I’m excited to find new ways to support our employees, to get the word out about all our structures offer, and help find new opportunities in the future.”
