When a local company found itself in need of blast-resistant facilities to serve the FIFA 2022 World Cup, it was game-on for Hunter. Our team got to work on a 32-week project that involved designing, engineering and manufacturing structures to aid with truck loading and unloading needs, fuel supply considerations and housing for complex data networking systems.
The custom modular units are engineered with protection in mind, featuring blast-resistant doors, windows, walls and related structural considerations. Fire suppression and fresh air ventilation systems, as well as quality insulation, keep interior environments safe and healthy even in the event of emergencies. Meanwhile, HVAC systems, dedicated prayer rooms and creature comforts including well-appointed kitchens, workspaces and toilets help to keep interiors comfortable. Hunter was proud to put our expertise to work for virtually every aspect of this project, from small power and lighting assistance, to earthing and even ensuring the data networking system was installed with maximum efficiency in mind.
