Hunter’s Middle East division is seeking an MEP Estimator with at least four years of experience in estimating MEP or MEP-related work (mechanical/HVAC/plumbing/fire protection/electrical/ELV systems) for prefabricated modular steel buildings. Candidate duties and responsibilities for estimation of MEP for prefabricated modular buildings will include the following tasks:
- Review of inquiry requirements (RFQ documents) and RFI sheet
- Preparation of scope summary and compilation of technical queries
- Active participation in clarification meetings with customers
- Preparation of accurate cost estimate for the assigned inquiry in line with Hunter policy, procedures, standards and rates, and in accordance with customer requirements
- Preparation of proposal document along with any other documentation required for the submission.
- Provide the necessary support in the compilation of handover documents including inputs in the Handover/IKOM document
- Support in the preparation of cost estimates for project variation order requests
- Preparation of budgetary proposals
- Drafting (AutoCAD) of general arrangement drawings for bid purposes
- Preparation and compilation of prequalification documents
- Any other estimation and sales support tasks that may be assigned occasionally
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in estimating MEP-related works
- Experience in prefabricated modular steel buildings
- Knowledge of standards such as ASHRAE, IEC, ANSI, ATEX, IECEx, Eurocodes, Shell DEP, ASME and Incoterm
